That's not really how it works. Instead it's more, the browser gets to ask the kernel to use your GPU and download assets. Your browser is a VM and the kernel is a hypervisor to it, if that makes sense.

    Yeah that helps, thanks. I guess I was taking the opportunity to commentate on browsers becoming sort of a bloated mess in general. But it might not be relevant this time. I appreciate the insight.
