If you need to boil water on the stove but you want to minimize heating the house/apartment, boil it in the kettle or microwave first then transfer to stove (toast.ooo)

Some food preparation can’t be done fully in the microwave, this has helped me minimize radiating heat into the apartment during hot days lately.

This is another thing I love about my induction range. The burners themselves don't get hot, so the kitchen heats up less than it did with my old stove.
