Hi, I’m a mom asking for some help for my family while we’re going through an incredibly difficult financial period.

I have been unable to work because of ongoing health issues, and our family has been relying primarily on my husband’s income from self-employment. Unfortunately, he recently suffered a serious injury to his finger while working and nearly severed it. He is now awaiting surgery, and the injury and recovery are affecting his ability to work and provide our normal income.

We have children at home and are struggling to keep up with everyday necessities along with mounting medical expenses and household bills. I recently created an Uplifted wishlist with items our family genuinely needs. We are not expecting anyone to take care of everything — even one item purchased from the list would take something off our plate right now.

If you’re unable to help financially, sharing our wishlist would mean just as much to us. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any kindness or support you can offer.

@Carrots @mutualaid@ovo.st@mutualaid@fedigroups.social @comrade @mutualaidspace @wrzky@wrzky.com Carrots, this is the second time you've projected the garbage in your head onto a mutual aid request. What's this community for? Not for you, that's for sure.Post your evidence of the scam. Back up your statement. Otherwise, you are telling us what you would do if you were in the OP's position.
