I loved how jailbreaking a PS3 or a PSP made these consoles useful for many other things. Backing up my games (and others') was great, sure, but I could also add emulation, media servers, better save data management, more offline capabilities, remote control of other devices, backwards compatibility that Sony had disabled, and so much more. Jailbreaking a gaming console was the best way to keep it useful as long as possible. 👍
