Data sent by vehicles and companion apps included locations, VINs, and other identifiers. Amazon, Google, Meta, and Microsoft were among the top receivers of driver data.

Not only that, they're double dipping! You're paying $30/month for bullshit features like remote start or temp controls, meanwhile they also make money on your data!!

  1. People need to stop being dumb enough to pay for this shit, and
  2. People need to push back on all the surveillance happening.
