when used to refer to trans women, femboy is a slur

an actual "femboy" is (very literally) a "feminine boy"; a male-identifying and at-least-somewhat-feminine-presenting person, often adhering to the typical style of femboy culture (thigh high socks, crop top, skirt or short shorts, fluffy hair that doesnt go past the chin), or often other queer styles

being a femboy is one of the ways a cishet person can be queer (other notable ways are being aromantic or intersex)
