President Donald Trump says he has a deal with Denmark to bolster the U.S. military presence in Greenland. The announcement comes after months of threatening to take the island by force from the NATO ally.

Lol, tbh idk what's worse...

I think the fact that EU DIDN'T EVEN PUT UP A FIGHT. Like they didn't even try to resist. They just HANDED all the territory over without a fight. Lol

Yeah that's definitely worse!

? EU did resist. This "new deal" is barely anything more than the already existing deal. This is an empty PR move for Trump but the average US voter will likely eat it up and say "Go, USA!"

This is my point. This whole thing makes it look like they conceded to Trump! Why give him the satisfaction of having a new deal if it's the same shit as the old deal?

Well anyway Fox News already spun it about how amazing the deal is and the prosperity it will bring to the USA.... There is nothing I can counter with because that's the news and I'm just a fucking guy. Maybe the PM of Denmark should have not been so go happy about this deal and been clear it wasn't a win for trump?
