In fact, it may be impossible not to. It is hard to write differently even if you consciously try to. Some accounts require your phone number, like healthcare and stuff. Even VPN and Tor isn't totally usable or always helpful in every situation. Logging into Lemmy via Tor is counter productive for Tor use, actually.

The key is to just not give info that isn't necessary. You can't totally delete yourself, and having a completely blank slate may even be suspicious, depending on your threat model.
