Tl;dr: 75-yo old woman attacks the employees over a sandwich, rips hair from one of them, put that hair in her purse, calls the police and dies.

At that point, two other employees intervened, and as they were pulled apart, a “chunk of hair” was pulled from the shift lead’s head, “leaving a raw area.”

Once separated, the employees got behind the counter and Grayson sat down, taking a phone call. She was seen picking up the shift lead’s hair and putting it in her bag, police said.

What is the law regarding elder abuse in the USA?

Any kind of elder abuse should be dealt with swiftly and harshly worldwide. She should be punished for assaulting an elder at the very least.

Sometimes america just don't make no sense.

Editing: I'm aware of the case, what happened, who put hands on who. What I'm not aware of is where self defense blurs and elderly abuse begins.

You guys okay? So hostile.

I don’t understand your reasoning. My understanding of what happened after reading the article is that the manager used force in self defence after being attacked. How should that result in a punishment for adulting an elder?
