That again, he’s not a Star Trek fan, so he’s probably not subscribed to this community

Sir, this is Ten Forward.

If you don't know who Wesley and the Traveler are, you're probably not going to get the meme anyway. Do you go to every community with memes you don't understand and complain they didn't give you context? Why is it any different that the Alt text doesn't explain the context than any given meme not explaining the context. (Yes, it's for the visually impaired using screen readers. It's called accessibility, look it up.)

FWIW, on the weekends, my “Subscribed” feed can jump from ‘8 seconds ago’ to ‘2 years ago’ pretty quickly, so it’s not inconceivable that I might switch to the ‘All’ feed and discover something new and wonderful that I may not understand. (personally, it’s the torrent of trans communities and the onslaught of genz trans anxieties that, as a genx gay man, I try to reconcile with my very 90s experience. I find it extremely fascinating, not only sociologically, but in trying to better understand the extremely vast LGBTQ community that I am a part of). Anyway…

The point I was trying to make is that I was amused by what I was describing, not being critical of it. It’s a sociological wonder, and I found it interesting. I wasn’t trying to be a bitch.
