This is a decent point. I had a blender that suited for 20 years, and i stupidly got seduced by the idea i needed i new one as mine was 90% trashed.
Spent ages on reviews, and settled on a breville. It turned out to be too big, too powerful. The lack of control meant I lost a lot. I like to make pastry and also use mine to use juice, and sometime whip sauces. The only control was a dial that just blitzed everything. Second the base was heavy, i would often just ignore it for that reason, so heavy and too many clunky parts to clean. I ended up buying a older but unused kenwood multipro. Between the control of speed and power and a good range of accessories It is a versatile machine.
