They changed A LOT in this remake and it's just so bad it detracts from the core experience of what the original game was. I've seen YouTube breakdowns of the changes in level design, mission structure and design, and dialogue changes and it's pretty bad.

I mean, I guess it's still Halo, the gunplay and combat is timeless, but the overall experience is definitely tarnished for an old player who loved the original.
