I'd never heard of them before! permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 3 child comments replies: [–] UnrefinedChihuahua@lemmy.dbzer0.com [S] 2 points 3 months ago (2 children) But now I'm not sure. We just plucked a near ripe one and it looks more blackberry than raspberry on the inside per that guide. The label clearly says raspberry, however. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] NoSpotOfGround@lemmy.world 1 point 3 months ago (1 child) It could be a little green still, maybe it separates more completely when it's riper... I am a little worried about the shininess of the fruit though. Raspberries have a bit of whitish fuzz on them. What is the taste like, can you tell if there's a raspberry "perfume" to it? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] UnrefinedChihuahua@lemmy.dbzer0.com [S] 2 points 3 months ago The smell is hard to nail down as there are both a regular raspberry and a white raspberry nearby. I think I'll let the next ones ripen a lot more and see how it goes then. They don't seem to have any fuzz. permalink fedilink source parent
