I have chosen to revive this community following recent events however I have determined that being on this instance will cause more issues over time. Therefore I am using this chance to completely start over from scratch.

The new community will be much stronger and greater than it ever was before and I hope to see you there.

As a dbzer0 native, I welcome new communities/users, but this seems to have been done without consulting any of the members or moderators. Even if it is your community, that's still not very cool.

Quite frankly this community is dead, what am I supposed to do argue over the corpse of what once was?

Infrequent posting doesn't necessarily mean dead. Posting a poll and seeing if any feedback came through couldn't have hurt. If you had just gone yourself and made a new community it would have come across different than telling everyone they have to move.

Huh that's a strange reason for a community to switch instances or am I wrong? I feel with Lemmy’s federation, a dead community is by a lack of participation/interest. Its not like another instance will magically have more participation/interest, because we're already federated.
