I'm kinda pissed that ancient humans didnt make a single one of these giant birds demosticated mounts. Not saying it was possible but they should have tried harder. We could have been playing Joust in real life.

Most birds are assholes (by mammalian sensibilities), I don't think any amount of training would have made it safe to turn your back on one of them. Wide adoption of mounts that are just waiting for an opportunity to kill and eat you is a tough sell, lol.
