Do you really think that a passing reference to the 4 houses which have long since transcended the books to become their own brand of nerd astrology is in any way comparable to the entirety of the book series that to this day still literally puts money in Joanne's pocket? This is exactly the lack of nuance I'm talking about.
Don't you think that there might be some value in using those connections to HP to push people into actually good series by actually good people instead? That referencing HP in a way that doesn't monetarily or culturally benefit Joanne and tying the dynamics that many nerds fell in love with into those newer series could pull fans away from her? That some people might relate to those descriptions and actually try out a show like She-Ra?
