Did the geriatric asshat who sleeps through literally everything actually fall asleep? Are you worried about someone trying to assassinate the character of our beloved leader? What are you doing? Like there's not 100 million videos floating around of the event that you could easily check to confirm for yourself. It took me three seconds to find video proof from over two dozen sources.     You're already on the internet, you could have easily confirmed the information you were being given within seconds. Instead you took the time to seed doubt. Intentional or not, I'm tired of it. You can confirm with yourself and come back with receipts, but instead you call it all into question. Why? Can't switch tabs? Just reveling in uncertainty?

    People having a discussion on a platform built for discussion? How dare? You're acting like they're a Jan 6 denier or something. With all the horrendous shit Trump has already done, I frankly doubt the deciding factor for anyone is going to be whether or not he fell asleep watching sports. It's a bit like demanding due diligence in investing if a confirmed mass rapist-murderer also has any outstanding parking fines.

    But this isn’t even a “just asking questions” that reads remotely disingenuous. Anyone who thinks I’m some Trump lover can just read my comments on how I fucking hate him and everything he does.

    "An honest question" isn't a free pass from doing basic due diligence. When a claim can be verified in seconds through countless reputable sources, posting it to a forum as an open question tends to generate confusion rather than understanding, and confusion is this administration's lifeblood. And how would a yes from me be any different than the yes that OP was responding to with his question? He already got the information, yet he sought out verification from the same source? Not buying it.

    One of our society's biggest problems is that we value what people say less than how they say it. Good people get crucified for using the wrong language and bad people get away with murder by choosing their words carefully. And corporate social media has amplified this issue a thousand-fold now that kids are learning to say shit like 'unalive' -_-

    Anyway yeah I guess I could have been less of a dick, but I stand by the message.
