The article itself even references children being groomed into taking pictures, but absolutely fucking nothing about going after the groomers themselves.

Surely it would be easier and prevent more harm to, I don't know, castrate and lobotomise every child abuser.

No. I want for there to be a legal system that will fairly punish people that exploit and or abuse the most vulnerable members of society.

Saying that, I am aware that there have been multiple countries in the past 100 years that are confirmed to have been chemically or surgically sterilising members of the population they deem 'undesirable'

It's not a matter of wanting to give the state that power, because they already have it. In my mind it's a matter of making sure that nobody is above the punishment, and every single person on the planet knows what happens to those that break the cardinal rule of "Don't be a nonce"
