I would ask that you make this request at least a month later as your account's too new.

Hello! Just checking in 1 month later. Would it be possible to moderate the On Guard for Thee community?

Hiya! No, I'm not moderating there. I think my request is orphaned at the moment because of the miscommunication.

Go ahead and request to mod, not much to it really.

Just FYI, once you're given the mod role, you have a finite amount of time (not sure how much) to post and claim the mod role. That wasn't explained very clearly

You should have mod access now too!

To clarify what happened with your earlier request, the default Lemmy UI is a bit weird when it comes to appointing someone as a mod. The UI for it only appears when clicking on a post or comment by the user in the community.

Meanwhile, some alternative UIs like Photon let you add new mods directly. That's the method I prefer to use, since there is less back and forth. That is how I was able to add you both just now, without needing any more comments/posts.

You should also be able to use Photon's mod tools now, and you can find those settings at https://photon.lemmy.ca/c/onguardforthee/settings

    ( tagging @1egg4u@lemmy.world as well)

Hey sorry I got back to this late,

Seems good to me👍 I'll set your account as mod for that comm in just a moment

When you have a moment could you add a post over there? It make promoting you much quicker.

Hello! I've been trying to post on the community, but I don't know if assigning me as Mod has taken effect.

btw could you create a new post on the On Guard For Thee (your requested) community?

I checked a couple hours after my previous comment but still did not see your post; as such I was unable to make you a mod.
