Has anybody received this notification this morning?

I assume its from Dessalines or Nutomic, since it came alongside the update.

Here are two of the links:

So, what does this mean for aussie.zone?

Does this mean we all need to get a Fairphone with e/os, or another non-android handset? What are the options for that?

Does this mean aussie.zone will break with the lemmy developers and become more independent? A kind of forced Fork?

Just wanting to get peoples opinions.

I tried Connect on your recommendation, but I don't seem to be able to view a feed by my subscriptions. It's that possible?

When you tap on the sandwich menu in the top left (the three bars) you can, among other things, select the feed you want to see.

Yes, which doesn't include subscriptions, only Frontpage, Local and All. I can view each comm individually, but not all subscriptions.
