It seems people were willing to overlook adults r@p!ng kids when Cheeto Benito was making their 401(k)s go burrrrr. Now can we get some people in jail or at least fired.

Chart showing the Dow Jones index at less than 47,000. This after Pam Bondi said we should ignore Trump's actions in the Epstein affair because the Dow was over 50,000.

Maybe people should show up and vote for people who want a functioning system instead of the clowns running the show? Too bad the candidates aren't perfect so we need to stay home and SeNd A mEsSaGe and let the fucking clowns win.

Even if (big if) the Dems win this year it's going to be like a 52 to 48 " landslide" . Then they will fix nothing and maybe punish 1 or 2 people but not address the principal cause, in the name of "unity".

Then you get to roll the dice again on 8 years but likely with someone a little more clever than the Dorito bonito.

That attitude is part of the problem. Because it's always going to be razor thin margins when you only show up when the problem is already present. Until people start consistently showing up and and show people on the real left can win, we're constantly going to be doing this.

Every cycle we decide to hold our votes to SeNd A mEsSaGe pushes us further and further to the right, which makes people rely on stupid purity politics arguments (like we saw in 16 and 24) that's just the biggest footgun in our arsenal.

It's always going to be razor thin margins because it's a two party System and first past the post.

Anything that doesn't address that problem is just window dressing

And you can't get rid of FPTP if you don't bother to show up and get people who care and want it to be improved. 1/3 of the population not voting is how you get the razor thin margins, blaming the system is a copout - sorry, 'window dressing' - and isn't actually addressing the problem.
