Could Lidl support WERO as part of Lidl Pay? (lemmy.world)

I noticed Lidl Pay today, but it only supports Visa/MasterCard, at least in my country.

My banks don't support WERO yet, but I was wondering if there are any technical impediments to using WERO as a payment method in Lidl Pay.

If not, it seems like an easy win to push Lidl into WERO.

Also, Lidl Pay in Germany can already bypass Visa/Mastercard by using instant SEPA payments.

Yeah, it's pretty slow loading, if i go shopping there i open the app when i enter the store to make sure it's open when i need it. But at least it's pretty responsive when loaded.
