Can you expand on that a bit?

I've always used youtube through the subscribed list. I don't really use the recommendations, so I think of that as "following people" and not blindly following the content the algorithm throws at me. But I'm having a hard time finding people to follow on peertube. I know there's the sepia thing, but with that you can find content, not people. I get that its decentralized and all that, but is there no list of creators who use peertube?

I'm very dumb and confused about all this. I'm just trying to get rid of youtube lol. Turns out it's very difficult.
