@Tutanota maybe you didn't notice but as communicated in the noyb article, we've got bigger problems than chatcontrol now. Don't get me wrong, chatcontrol would have (and may still) be a crappy and dangerous law, but If we had to, I'm confident we could come up with technical solutions and workflows ways around the letter of the chatcontrol law. On the other hand, the GDPR clawbacks meant to provide the unregulated access to EU user data to USA companies is something that there is no recovering from or finding clever work arounds for. This truly represents the first and most important domino, that if allowed to fall, would trigger the rapid and inevitable Ameri-shitification of Europe.
