Refurbishing some Joysticks and Joypads. This Atari joypad had some corroded contacts and silicone graphite pads. A bit of MG chemicals carbon lacquer and it is as good as new. #retrogaming #atari #atari2600
@root42 That looks like a really durable switch mechanism for 5v .. at least that part will essentially never wear out. Kind of looks like somebody on drugs stared at a buckling spring key switch and thought “what if I turned this inside out”.
