Not rage bait. This is a genuine response. I honestly think we need a gun buyback program. Because we have a mass killing problem, and guns are the deadly machine that creates that problem.

Only the edit is the rage bait, and only after I was already heavily downvoted.

    We also have a fascist takeover problem. That's a bigger problem, and it's the one the second amendment was written to address.

    Out of curiosity, how much do you think a buyback would cost?

    Start with 500 million to 1 billion. See how effective it is. Let that cash flow back into the system through taxes of various forms (fuel, sales, etc.), and keep going.

    So far, we've done nothing to address it. Let's start trying something.
