One day, plastic will be understood to be a carcinogen like how we think of asbestos.

    Fuck are you on about?! Sucking down microplastics is hardly a new phenomenon, we're just now understanding the scale of the problem. If microplastics were anywhere near asbestos we'd all be dead, right now today.

    Signed, man whose father died of mesothelioma from his WWII service below decks on a destroyer. And BTW, nearly every other man on that ship died of mesothelioma, mom tracked the widows down.
