I didn't really care for Cyberpunk at first. I stopped playing before the end of the opening chapter. After the DLC was released I gave it another shot and ended up loving it and spent hundreds of hours over multiple playthroughs. It could of been much better, but it was a good game and definitely brought back the spirit of GTA 4-5 for me.

They are pretty much the same in regards to the RPGness... The major differences are the setting and the combat.

Cyberpunk might be a little more in depth because V can have 3 different backstories, that add incredibly small changes to some dialogues where as The Witcher you're always the same Geralt.

A bit far fetched but hey ...

But the most interesting reactions, I think, are coming from The Witcher side of the CD Projekt street, where some more conspiratorial thinkers (or maybe it's just me and Mark at RPS?) see it as potentially classic dad-style wordplay: There are no plans for Cyberpunk 2077 DLC, but we never said anything about Witcher 3!

No offense but you shouldn't be playing a Witcher game for the gameplay, but for the story 😅

Not that TW3 gameplay is bad, but what makes it worth playing it 120 hours is the story, not the combat

You have to understand, i was the story first when i was young (and umployed), i played a lot of JRPGs with terrible combat and enemy encounter rate.

Those days, i rather have a game with a shallow story but a awesome fun gameplay, i definitively not in Soulslike anymore, and stop playing all my games on hard or expert.

If the game is make me do a lot of extra effort to play it, it simply doesn't woth my time

The attacks didn't even connect physically, and enemies barelly have feedback on damage they take.

Playing Old School CRPG with top view camera stil it doesn't help either, it tried be two different styles of RPG and end up being bad in both

The report follows similar claims from a Polish games insider, Borys Nieśpielak, who said last year that the new content was secretly in development at Fool’s Theory, the same studio currently remaking The Witcher 1 for CD Projekt.

So is the remake of TW1 the DLC for TW3 ?

It's not just TV series in my mind. I've seen dozens of movies that start with a great premise, rockin' right along and then run out of steam near the end. Comedies are the worst. Best jokes and plot up front, then filler for the rest.

Those movies don't have enough content for a feature length show and TV shows often don't have enough content to go beyond a season.
