Something I learned early in my career is that nothing will make your blood pressure rise like a suddenly quiet server room except for the sound of the UPS tech muttering, "Oh shit. No no no no. Shit. Oh fuck."

That's what happens when you let handyman Billy Bob do your electrical work.

"Oh look, here's a random wire coming from God knows where. We'll just tie into that. Easy Peezy."

That's some appalling wiring practices to have equipment like that even able to be disconnected.
