I use arch btw.

Community: linuxmemes User_A 5 hours: Talked about Linux so much my 14 year old niece installed Fedora by herself on her computer and loves it. User_S 4 hours: *collapsed comment* User_D 1 hour: Just buy her a MacBook if you want to be a good uncle User_A edited 1 hour: No thanks, I endeavor to pass on independent life skills, not dependent ones. User_D 1 hour: People who understand computers use macOS exclusively Linux is not good outside server or embedded applications User_A 1 hour: You should join the 21st century. That is a very outdated notion. User_D 1 hour: Apple have only been clearly the best the last 5 years User_A 1 hour: I found the Lemmy Daring Fireball account. User_S 12 minutes: LOL

There are four major rules when it comes to handling firearms and they build off of each other in order to add multiple layers to your safety plans. Training these rules into your behavior is important so they become second nature.

So I have been finding Lemmy has abandoned and other words lost communities due to only having one admin and then them getting banned making the whole community be unmoderated.

Is there a community that deals with Lost / Abandoned Communities?

I have created this as Lost Lemmys. Someone mentioned that Lost Lemmings would be good. I am going to post a yes and a no comment.

I cannot change the @ but I can change the display name.

Upvote yes if you think the display name should change to “Lost Lemmings” https://lemmy.world/comment/217992

Upvote no if you think the display name should stay the same https://lemmy.world/comment/217997

Added links to comments so people can have discussions since there is no poll option. Thank MadMaurice

Whatever the result is in 48 hours will be the answer

Support for Lemmy

Hey,

I have never used Reddit before, however I often thought about it. When I noticed, that many people migrated to here, I decided to try it as well. I'm still having trouble to really understand all of it though. That's why I am looking for a "First steps" or an overview that doesn't consist of clickbait or search engine optimized texts.

The comments were rather helpful though :)
