Is meme about Bethesda?

Its not the delta seconds but the event tick event node.
While it can be really useful, there are a lot of things that would be better off as a timer or setting the event tick to something other than 'every frame', as there isn't usually a whole lot that absolutely needs to be checked/updated on a frame by frame basis.
Hence the meme basically saying it looks harmful but they're not sure why.
I don't get it. Delta seconds is like really handy for keeping things from going wild, innit?
I think it was the original Mass Effect where sprinting barely increased your speed, but the game zoomed in the camera and increased the field of view to make it feel like you were moving quickly.
Heard a game dev speak at PAX once. Testers said the car wasn’t fast enough. They kept increasing the speed but it didn’t change anything. Then they made the car red at the original speed and complaints stopped.
I have a hierarchy of directories for how abandoned my projects are. There are many ideas or even somewhat fleshed out designs with no code. The directories represent the path of ideas from birth to death and my ongoing experiences learning acceptance.
Alternative title, hobbies with ADHD 🤭
Last panel, aka vibe-coding.
Google Adsense does it too.
So Steam gets to keep your money until you reach $100. What if you never hit $100? That's kinda fucked up.
It's a ridiculous rule, Amazon does that for books too. I'm sure others do as well. They'll accept payment for 99 cents, but won't pay you if they owe you.
