NOO THE HECKIN NCR ISN'T PERFECT

It's the only one that will survive the death of a leader. Lanius & Lucius are clueless, House has a hit on him from every side, the player is but one person.

NCR has elections, resource management , laws, etc etc. Yeah, it's got some corruption issues and not everything is perfect.

Guess how many people are being nailed to crosses in public in the NCR?

I really love the deck building mechanics of caravan but for the life of me I can't retain shit for actually playing it. That's saying something because I love card games, I learned mtg at 7 and could deal poker before I could read.

I’m not worried at all. I think Obsidian will be able to do what they need to. I think they’ll get a bit of that Bethesda spark that seems to be missing from their newer titles. I think Microslop might be getting to the end of their patience with Todd. They should be able to make a great follow up to NV with everything in place as it is. I have no worries.

For those unwilling to deal with the adblocker message:

However, the big news is that Microsoft is reorganizing its studios, merging Turn 10 and Playground together and expanding the remit of companies like Bethesda, Activision, and King. Specifically, Obsidian is now being added to the Bethesda umbrella, bringing these two companies with a lengthy shared history officially together. The announcement also confirmed that Obsidian will be continuing to develop its current projects like Grounded 2 as well as a new Fallout project that is a collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios. The overall goal of these reorganization efforts is to align groups that already work together and better strengthen franchises.

The histories of both Bethesda and Obsidian are well documented, two studios revered for their skills and iconic franchises. While both studios are now on the same team, they weren't always seeing eye to eye, especially after the controversies that arose over the development of Obsidian's beloved Fallout: New Vegas. Former senior designer Chris Avellone previously recalled the frustrations between both studios, with Bethesda highlighting all the things it felt Obsidian did wrong, confrontations over game performance, as well as the infamous metacritic score that prevented Obsidian from earning a bonus. While plenty of time has passed, the two seem to be on better terms with a new Fallout project in development

I used to split a hot and ready with a friend, $5 for pizza and then drive a mile to McDonald's for $1 drinks, eat inside for free refills. $3.50 each for dinner. Sometimes we'd hit the dollar tree and get those little ice cream cups with the wooden 'spoon', a pack of 4 so we'd have dessert for 50 cents each.

    Those were the days...
