The wheel of foot fetish

Reprieve is a weird case of a card having 6 different arts across multiple sets and yet never having an in-universe paper printing with a normal frame. This art only came about because of Through the Omenpaths, Magic Arena's replacement for Spider-Man before WotC was able to secure digital distribution rights
Hopefully it and the many other in-universe arts that came from the set get paper printings!
I love when card art gets surreal and fantastical like this
God I've always loved this art so much.
I loved when they did multiple arts for a single card in a set.

I've seen at least one Eldrazi Tron list in Modern playing it, not sure if it's worth keeping but the E-Tron decklist is generally very flexible to including cheap artifacts
Neat idea. Not enough to replace my Spongebob Jodah as my goofy universes beyond commander, but might print a proxy to go in the 99.
It is actually a crazy good mana filter for Tron in Pauper! So much so that it completely replaced Prophetic Prism in many lists. Also the 7 mana destroy anything is just perfect with Tron.
No idea if its playable anywhere else.
Seems bad? Unless it somehow fit into an artifact deck.
Reminds me of the angels in the newer Doom games. I wonder if illustrations like these inspired their design
Never thought about it but almost every depiction of an owlbear I've seen was on its hind legs, oddly.
I believe this, along with Mindflayers and Beholders and such, are some of the IPs of DnD (WotC and Hasbro) which everyone stopped using over their ATTEMPTED change in terms of use which monetized all third party products.
Epic new art for a classic
Giant growth, my beloved. Blessed are ye, who makes mighty the meager elf.
If I ever play MTG again, I am making a Mabel EDH deck.
Campbell White feels like the most generic magic style in a good way. You can identify their work as magic art really easy and that for sure is a good understanding and intentionality from their side.
Probably the first decapitation I saw in a children's cartoon. I remember them even showing the neck stump.
Ikr ? Feeling the same about the Cub:
- Aww a smol round badger
- ???
- 64/64 Hydra
On one hand, this mouse deck was a terror in standard. On the other, you just can't help but love the art of this little guy

ADMODEUSSSSSSS
Ah the card I put into every EDH deck before cutting it a week later so I can jam in some bullshit
Yeah, I have been playing/watching some pauper lately. Kinda strong card but it is struggling a bit with strix being around!
It’s a Pauper staple for a reason! :D
I really like small eldrazi, but this one is kinda busted to be a common lol
Idk, it feels like a flavor thing to me, to emphasize the otherness of the Eldrazi. I guess that a way so the card count as a colorless permanent for other Eldrazi with colorless matters effect.
I've never liked Devoid as a mechanic. What do you mean it has no colors? I can see them right there!
