That's fair :) It's interesting, those features are things I'd never have thought of, but they seem so obvious now. Reminds me to take a look at other clients every now and again. Thanks!

Noticed that after I commented, mlem is more gesture based and has no option to show buttons in compact mode, other that that I like it. Voyager still has to be my favorite to use, but I might use interstellar more because I really like replying to comments in feed while being able to scroll around and see other comments.
I wish. App seems to ve on right tracks, needs just a bit of pushing
I like thumbnails on the right on campact posts, mlem doesn't have an option for that
This can be found under Settings -> Posts -> Thumbnail. The option only shows if you set it to Compact or Headline mode
Been a year, was going to ask for an option to have titles not be bold but I guess I'll stop using it. Have voyager looking better or pretty much the same right now, just been hopping around 4 apps for about 2 years and just now getting around to uninstalling some and deciding which to commit to. I like thumbnails on the right on campact posts, mlem doesn't have an option for that, this does but the bold looks bad and it doesn't get updates anymore, voyager has it all so far.
What is everyone else using?
I honestly just asked myself this question and realized that I already asked it 6 mo ago.
I know it’s been a while but Mlem just doesn’t satisfy me really
Arctic is great, but it hasn't been updated in over a year and will likely break with Lemmy 1.0. I'd recommend making feature requests for alternative Lemmy clients to have an app to switch to when Arctic breaks completely. Mlem and Blorp are my preferred alternatives at the moment.
never heard someone say that.
yes, I was looking for an Apollo-like client that actually looks like Apollo.
I just stumbled upon this post. I usually use Mlem, have you tried it? how would you say it compares with Arctic?
To start with: It breaks accessibility and it makes text hard to read.
okay what’s wrong with it, I like the glass design thing BECAUSE THE IOS 12 DESIGN IS ALREDY BORING
Holy shit, you just used "nice" and "liquid glass" in the same sentence
enable it through nugget.
Yea me too.
I’ve been keeping an eye out for updates, but I still use it. If it continues to go without updates, I might start looking for a replacement, but so far, it’s working well, so I’m sticking with it.
Thanks!
I use mlem TestFlight full time. There is also an appstore build available.
What’s the best alternative app?
It's on GitHub isn't it?
Could someone fork it?
The beta expired, the dev is no longer active. It has been 10 months since there was an update on the app store. I think it is dead.
That’s true, but they usually still appear in the test flight app under previously tested. But Arctic has completely disappeared.
TestFlight builds expire after, I think, 90 days. So it’s possible the build expired.
