Lol "off the chart"..

Ppl are pissing and moaning about the egregious and unethical use and rise of data centers. Data centers do not serve the neighborhoods they are built in.

No one is (probably) seriously arguing for 0 data centers. As all data centers are not equal.

I guess I should have been more explicit in my flippant comment so as to not harm your opinions.

"Put the definition of monopoly in your next reply and convince me Steam fits the definition."

You quote law, not definition. But the fact that the law has not taken action on this is not a point in your favor.

Price fixing definitely is monopolistic behavior.

Id also counter the 75%. Is that player numbers? Money spent? Games listed? You offer no source either.

Honestly IDC anymore. You just don't like steam (which is fine). Hope you look up the definition some day.

Anecdotal but I absolutely hear radio ads for a data center brand and the entirety of the ads are propaganda about how this particular brand of data center cares about the surrounding neighborhood. None of the ad is about how the data centers this company builds are used, just an ad talking about how they don't do the typical negative things associated with data centers.

    Propaganda.

Wish people would realize they are NOT idiots.

This erodes privacy and allows character assassinations on anyone who wants to be safe and/or private by using those VPN that do not comply. Is your mega ISP really going to stand up for your rights under this? Can you really get a new ISP at the "press of a few buttons"?

You aren't the only one here not understanding how "this doesn't directly affect me" bc you have the technical skills to avoid it. It does affect you, even if only by the chilling effect of it being more difficult to discuss online.
