Ours have turned the stove on during the night by walking across it

But aren't induction stovetops only heating when a compatible metal is on top/detected? So if you don't leave pans and pots on it shouldn't the stovetop be powered off, even if the cat turns on the switch? Besides that, there must be better options, even if companies refuse going back to knobs.

On a normal screen the widescreen idea probably wont work as great, but I would like to see a simplified version for normal screen sizes. Maybe instead of the gradual size change a depositing of windows at the left screen edge. Similar to those chat bubble things on Android. Like I would love to be able to snap a music player to the border and it becoming a small interface with the basic controls. So similar to his demo at 31:45. Maybe I need to find a customizable tiling manager and make a preset with a lot of small windows at the left side just to test the general concept, I really dig the idea of it.

Doesn't mean they will sell them, because the demand could be to low. The trend is going to "multi-purpose vehicles (including sport utility vehicles and crossovers)" https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/daily-quotidien/251017/cg-c001-eng.htm The same trend is happening in Europe. I could see the financial pressure building right now counteracting it a little bit, smaller cars could benefit like electric already are, but that's just a guess.

Just looked up, a windturbine has less infrasound then cars. (german Source) I would guess the datacenter could have more infrasound and thus be a bigger problem. They mention a study about windturbine infrasound and they point towards nocebo effect, but maybe windturbines are at a border where the health effects are very difficult to measure. So maybe studies about the infrasound of datacenters could find something. On the other hand, datacenters bring a lot more pollution factors, like light-, air- and waterpollution.
