I hate it. I can't stand it. I'm so tired of it. These fucking yoga computers. it's always something. The pens suck. The screens suck. The nibs suck. The batteries suck. Just plugged in a Wacom CTL-672 after 2 years of lenovo yogas, just for the kicks (out of spite), because the AES Pens keep bullying me, and it's a four billion times better experience. It's instantly responsive, it draws real straight diagonal lines always. The pens don't need any fucking batteries, and despite that it has magical pressure sensitivity. But it doesn't have a screen. I need to meditate on how much I really need a tablet with a screen, because I might just go back to this piece of screenless wacom shit. The X60T's are probably the closest to a pleasant drawing experience. I'm seriously considering just selling or breaking the yogas in half and using something else. I don't want to put Linux on my X60, because it's my dedicated 9front art machine, but if I had gimp on it, I could probably use it full time. I want a computer that i can draw on, that has a dumb pen that does not need batteries, and that's not 20 years old so it can do day to day computer shit. should i just get an ipad? because I will do it, but i want gimp, i don't want to become an instagram art girl with PROCREATE. Is there a drawing tablet that does not suck? Is there a computer that you can draw on that does not suck? fuck computers. sincerely. fuck them.
