Thanks. I wrote an email to them. Not sure anyone is going to care, but at least I did what I can. If nothing changes, I'm off of this service.

It's opt in, but tge article explains that it's nestled among a bunch of eulas that you have to click through, so unless you obsessively check which checkboxes don't have to be checked, you're going to find yourself opted in.

My personal project since the beginning of COVID has been a programming language/data manipulation tool.

At some point I realised that not writing a program is better than writing one (juat like how if a Unix task is simple, you'll just type the command in the shell rather than writing a script). The the aame vein, if you can write a few characters to map the sum of an array of values with maximum value in a nested list of numbers in some column of a 2-dimensional array, why should I write a program to do it?

    The result is Kap: https://kapdemo.dhsdevelopments.com/

I know my explanation seems overly generic, but I've already gone on for too long. If you're curious, check the examples and videos on the web site. Please feel free to ask questions, I could talk about this stuff for way too long.

I watched a few performances of these people in court. It's absolutely wild. Where do they get these ideas? Now I have this (likely unhealthy) desire to look at what these conversations look like. Do they have forums for these insane people?

    Legally? No.

Morally? Yes. Customers give their say as to whether or not they want to give their money to some specific company every single time they engage in a business transaction. There is also nothing wrong with telling others to make the same consideration.
