That's a really cute cat. Sorry for your loss
I like the ideas that people are saying about median and mean wage being the benchmark for congressional pay, but wouldn't it be nicer if they had to meet metrics in order to get paid?
Since they are supposed to serve the American people, making congressional seats commission-based would be nice. That way they'd actually have to put in effort to make their wages.
And any form of bribery or donations should be considered treason, and the people that commit treason should be treated like traitors (Congress people and their donors).
And on stock trading, having to report the trade a day in advance to some kind of congressional ledger would be nice. On the day of the trade, they have to mention wether or not they executed the trade, and that information should be made public. Or better yet, make their brokerage accounts on a platform designed just for Congress people, and they can't make trades outside of that platform. All of the trades they make should be public.

Windows also has a language that denotes variables with the dollar as well (powershell). Or you can use bash too
So, a better title would be "Over half of New Yorkers are supportive of democratic socialism"?
AWOOOOOOGA
For all the gas money I've saved, I invested in my own WFH setup. Not having a dedicated space would make it a challenge
To play devil's advocate, a lot of money that is tied up in retirement accounts of the "average Joe" would also be taxed, so if your retirement accounts aren't outpacing your income tax rate, then it'd hurt main street too
It's wild how quotable the Holy Grail is
UDP by itself has no state management, but some protocols will do state management at higher levels while using UDP as the transport
It's an old joke
There is some interoperability with windows domains for bigger distros like RHEL and Ubuntu (there are even Ubuntu specific admx templates iirc). Check out SSSD
