Disclosure: I'm on the SIMGUARD team (Simguard Technologies, Canada).

What it does:

  • Premium (24/7): watches Android-reported SIM, eSIM and carrier state, and alerts on unexpected changes or loss of service. Each alert gives next steps (call your carrier from a trusted device, secure your email, move off SMS 2FA).
  • Free, no account:
    • Known-list spyware/stalkerware scan (on-device)
    • Link check
    • Scam-awareness tools
  • Ads: none.

Privacy: threat detection and private vault data stay on your device; we don't see your alerts or vault. Play's Data Safety covers optional location and anonymous product analytics/payments via Google. We don't sell data.

Limits, stated plainly:

  • It's proprietary, with no public third-party audit yet.
  • It can't stop a SIM swap. The carrier controls transfers, so set a carrier PIN or port-out lock first.
  • A clean scan isn't proof.

Pricing: $9.99/mo or $79.99/yr US after a 5-day trial.
