Except in Saskatchewan where only Rogers has built their own towers. Bell and Telus lease SaskTel's infrastructure. Source: I work at SaskTel.
Bicycles are supposed to ride on the road (not sidewalk) yes? So why are they being limited to a speed that is actively disruptive to traffic? Going 30 in a 50 zone means you are going 20km/h under the limit, which is considered disruptive and is actuality a ticket-worthy offense if you are in a car. So why are bikes being limited to that? This makes no sense. If you don't want bike lanes and want bikes to ride with traffic, then they need to be able to flow with the speed of traffic. Absolute mindless nonsense! It's safer to be going the speed of traffic than to be going slower and have an impatient car try to get past the slow AF cyclist.
Why the hell is this even a thing? 100%?! That's just a cash grab plain and simple. No good reason for that.
-Listens to teacher-friend complaints-
Yup, not surprised.
The only kind of app that has the ability to change UI element appearances are launchers. So you'd need to use a whole new launcher to theme the UI.
Golf carts (or e-bikes) don't work so well in the prairies in the winter when it's -20 (or colder) outside and there's several cm of snow on the ground. They aren't meant for getting through snow, and they don't have a heated cabin. Don't get me wrong, I would love better options for small drives, but winter exists in other provinces. By the time you get an enclosed, heated, snow-capable vehicle, you are looking at basically a car anyway. We need to focus on EV charging station access so that people who live in an apartment like me, can use and charge EV's.
Do you mean for internet or cellular?
Cellular yes, but home internet, I don't think so. Though I am not sure if you need a SK side address to sign up for services or not. I'm more the IT side of things haha.
Carbon taxes do work. When we don't carve out exceptions.
Carbon pricing has successfully reduced GHG emissions internationally:
- The US has two separate cap-and-trade systems that are reducing emissions.
- The UK is on track to fully phase out coal; its carbon tax is cited as the primary driver of this phase-out.
- The European Union’s Emissions Trading System, since its inception, is responsible for between one third and one half of the region’s emissions reductions.
- Sweden has the world’s highest carbon tax; ten years after bringing it in (2001), emissions were as much as 25% lower than they would otherwise be.
I've used saily when I went on a trip to the Dominican Republic for 10 days. I didn't need a lot of data, just enough for maps outside the resort, etc. But it was crazy affordable, and their customer support was prompt, friendly, and helpful when I needed a bit of assistance with the activation.
All in all, I'd use saily again in the future.
