    Trump: "I sank your battleship!"

Iran: "That was a destroyer, and you only hit it once..."

Trump: "No no no I know that was a battleship I've hit many battleships in my time no one knows battleship like I do"

    Iran: "The strait is closed"

Go get em Iran. Lesser evil the US all the way out of there.

More good news. This region won't stabilize unless Iran is able to show that the US cannot significantly diminish Iranian capability to legitimately threaten the safety of Israel.

It will be nice and stable once Iran can get back to killing protesters and supporting terror groups according to their fundamental religious beliefs.

    Perhaps you are not aware:

    https://truthout.org/articles/us-provides-military-assistance-to-73-percent-of-world-s-dictatorships/

If we attacked every country that brutally oppressed their population we wouldn’t have any allies.

You might want to level out that outage given Iran was invaded by a country that is currently at war with no less than three of it's neighbors and drives literally the exact same shit just on a larger scale.

Amazing that Trump and Bibi have gotten so many leftists to support an oppressive fundamentalist religious regime.

No one is supporting anything but the fact the US and Israel started a war for no reason they can state and stick to for longer then a child lacking object permanence.

You don't have to like Iran to say starting a war with them is idiotic and shouldn't be happening. You do however have to be acting in bad faith or have your head up your ass to see that as supporting the regime.

I absolutely agree. It was an incredibly stupid idea.

You do however have to be acting in bad faith or have your head up your ass to see that as supporting the regime.

I'm not criticizing your criticism of the war. I'm criticizing your jumping to the defense of Iran that I should "level my outrage" at them due to them being at war. No. No I should not.

Two separate people so no obviously its nothing to do with my criticism.

No I mean the examples provided are exactly the same thing Israel does as well ie. You're outrage heavily favors Israel and the usa given the exact same stated issues occur from both but your outrage favors Israel "for some reason".

    You're basically saying "nobody's perfect".

You’re outrage heavily favors Israel and the usa

I was stating a fact. Not outrage.

No I'm saying there both doing the same thing but Israel is actively invading their neighbors in multiple. So two things they're both doing and one that only one is doing? Are those equal things? No. They for what "mystery reason" is your outrage directed at Iran and not Israel?

Also that's not a fact that's an opinion but sure, close enough for government work I suppose.

It's a fact that Iran has killed protesters and supported terrorist groups.

But if your contribution to every discussion is "oh yeah - other people are doing bad things" then you're pointless.

Opinion, not a fact. It includes some facts, it itself however is an opinion.

That's literally your position, Israel does the same shit and actively started the war with Iran that is the cause of the current instability but your statement implies Iran is the reason for the current instability which is just objectively observably incorrect.

Iran has been a problem like I dunno 1969 when they attempted to invade Israel, now the roles are reversed and your favoritism is still towards the instigator and aggressors.

You're a bigot, you could at least be honest about it or more subtle but at the moment you may as well be screaming "i don't like Muslims or brown people!" because none of your reasoning follows basic logic.

Both of them are religious fundamentalists my horrifically unobservant friend. No one is batting for anything but stopping a war.

I get that people love to deride America as descending into fascism but one of these two is LITERALLY a theocratic dictatorship with a "supreme leader" chosen from clerics to "guide" the nation according to their interpretation of Islam.

Notably I didn't do that you're generalizing because you have no leg to stand on.

Israel is also a theocracy they just don't call it that, you're quite literally less of a citizen if you aren't ethnically Jewish and less so if you aren't a practicing Jew.

Fun fact the current administration is lobbying to make raping detainees legal in as well as adding the death penalty for being an accused insurgent.

Way to shill in favor of war, doesn't make a damn bit of sense but goddamn look at you go.
