Can't wait for people to completely misunderstand the nuance of "understandable" in this context.

Basically he said "It makes sense that people raised to hate and want to murder brown people grew up to hate and murder brown people"

I would guess it's about Israel.

This video is about Graham Platner. The American version of the IDF rape and murder hero.

How do you manage to extract that context from a 16 second clip, that doesn't even mention Planter once? And how did you somehow also manage to ignore the fact that Planter isn't an IDF / genocide supporter?

He's talking about the normalization of murdering brown children. Why would anyone assume he was talking about Planter, and not current Israeli culture?

Why do you think he is talking about an Israeli instead of Platner?

Because...as I just said in my last comment...Planter isn't an "American version of the IDF rape and murder hero". Where would you even get that from? The guy is about as anti-war as it gets in American politics.

Wow. Astounding. You do not know anything about Graham Platner but are whole-heartedly willing to deny his war crimes. You are no different than Zionist Israelis telling people how great the IDF is.

Do you have any idea how many soldiers enlist, and then later regret their service, because of the shit they learn about their own government?

    You're a fucking joke, kid.

Interesting can you please show me where Graham Platner regretted his military service? I have not heard that before.

Lol! Wut? Ok, now I know you're not a serious person. How am I supposed to quote everything he's said on the subject?

I would say, "You don't know what you're talking about", but I'm positive that you know exactly what you're saying. Which means you're either a paid shill for the establishment, or just some useful idiot spreading their disinformation for free.

If you have no evidence to back up your claim then you should not make it. A single instance should not be hard to find. I cannot find it.

I would say, “You don’t know what you’re talking about”

Like I said, there's no way you haven't already seen the "evidence" you're asking for...but, since you are still arguing the opposite is true...it means you are obviously not arguing in good faith. But, whatever. For the rest of the folks in the comments...here's Graham Platner, in his own words talking about all this and more.

I find it impossible to believe that someone who claims to have anti-Zionist political views, would also somehow be so completely captured by the MSM disinformation bubble. How can you possibly be parroting the establishment narrative on Platner, while also caliming to hold anti-establishment beliefs. You don't seem to be that stupid...which means you must be dishonest. This post alone, and then your entire argument trying to defend it, just outs you as a bad faith actor.

There are plenty of articles online about Graham Platner to quote but you instead linked a 30 minute long video without a timestamp. Please link me the timestamp.

I will give you a hint: You are currently stuck in a delusional world view in which you are rationalizing the beliefs of Graham Platner to be what you want to believe.

Graham Platner never said he regretted his time as a child murdering terrorist. He only regrets how much taxpayer money was wasted because he could have killed brown people so much more efficiently.

You are doing the exact same thing the MAGA crowd is doing for Donald Trump. Projecting your own desires on your favorite politician who is promising to fix your own economic woes and rationalizing all their flaws away for it.

Now go find that timestamp or quote you are so certain exists and prove me wrong.

Lol!! So, I give you an interview where he LITERALLY says ALL the things you claim he never said...and you won't watch it because it's too long, and I didn't provide you with timestamps? I would have to give you a list of a dozen timestamps, spaced a few minutes apart. Just watch the video. (But, we both know you won't) This isn't me projecfting my views onto him...it's you trying to create a narrative about him, that simply doesn't exist outside of your carefully selected sound bites and out-of-context video clips.

Nah, dude. Like I said, you are clearly not arguing in good faith. You're obviously a shill for either AIPAC, or Susan Collins, or both...or you're just too wrapped up in the conservative media-sphere to be taken seriously.

Hasan has spoken about this many times - it's much more reasonable to be mad at the people in charge and not the foot soldiers. Additionally, it doesn't make much sense to punish people for talking about it and coming around to understanding that their actions were bad.
