The biggest problem with AI is that it has very poor "accuracy vs precision" problem.
It can be very precise with what it can produce, but it's accuracy is completely unreliable.
So, as it stands right now, the only jobs it can really replace are jobs where accuracy doesn't really matter all that much, like front end software/web development and art production.
It's maddening that even this article is positive about AI.
“changed nothing” can’t be really true. sure, productivity might have been on the whole unchanged, but in my experience it’s because of the clusterfuck of half finished and poorly understood work that all of a sudden gets a pass and takes real experts to come in and mitigate and clean up. measuring productivity with lines of code was always a bad metric.
Q: Is it better to treat your employees well and keep them or go full AI for the c suite?
A:
Treating employees well and maintaining a strong workforce is generally more beneficial for long-term success than fully replacing them with AI in the C-suite.
