He recorded a rough version of the riff on a cassette player. He had no idea he had written it.

When he listened to the recording in the morning, there were about two minutes of acoustic guitar before you could hear him drop the pick and "then me snoring for the next forty minutes".

    I had forgotten about this. I'm not pleased to be reminded of it.

    I'm glad you enjoy it thoroughly though since I've never understood what is interesting or enjoyable about this in anyway.

    Not really. He wrote the riff and then fell asleep. The recorder kept going, so there was a lot of blank tape.
