@jswright61 @wordle Well done!!!
@dan Thanks Dan.Iβm still a bit curious as to what is being accomplished with the with @wordle @ mention. Presumably someone (possibly you) wants to see the results and the @ mention is a sure fire way as apposed to the hashtag which is not necessarily seen by all following the hashtag.I have a technical mind and a curiosity so please spare no details if you care to share.
@dan oh, and just a general Q re: @wordle:Most clients (mine does) copy @ mentions into replies automatically. Would you prefer that replies not include that @ mention (a less cluttered timeline).
@jswright61 Having the replies post to the community is part of what makes it interesting, because you can see all threads in one place. Interestingly, I have had a few people from Lemmy servers jump in and play against the #OldGal via the @wordle posts.
@jswright61 Itβs really not very deep. My friend @ozzy who runs this server also runs the olio.cafe Piefed (a fediverse version of Reddit) server. He asked me to create @wordle community, so I did.
@dan @jswright61 @wordle Hi Scott, sorry for delay iv been busy with fedi and other stuff recent days.There are a lot people on piefed/lemmy/mbin, and some great communites. I am curious if the Wordle Community that you folks have built can be expanded via those platforms.Might take a little while but I dont think any harm done trying
@jswright61 @wordle Wow! Just too good a solve! πππ
