Font Awesome is currently experiencing an outage, so many webpages will have a broken UI or even broken functionality if there was any tied to icons (ask me how I know)

It has been fixed. Back to work!

For Vue definitely, but I assume for the other big js frameworks you can easily just make it so font awesome is bundled with your app.

    Why the fuck would you call an external API for a static font?? O_o

    Does it have something to do with paid plans?

    Just download and host it yourself and no outage.
