It's not the range of the car. Our car gets over 600 km in the summer, about 350 in the winter. However there isn't a charger within 2 hours of us that doesn't take at least 90 minutes to charge, even though the car is capable of doing it in 20.

The problem is the infrastructure. Many of the charging stations that I have tried to use have broken or disabled chargers. And it costs me $6 to fill up the car at home, but more than $40 at a charging station.
