A thick fog has covered my town. It reminds me of the game Silent Hill. It makes me feel disconnected from the outer world. It literally constitutes a veil, cast on my mind. A wall of silence* that I imagine being able to shield me from evil. And as I'm lying in bed, passively meditating on my mental illness, I find myself wishing that it devoured all the bad people. The rude people. People without empathy. People who laugh at suffering.

Go forth, Pyramid Head! I release thee! 🍆

* which is contradictory in that water supposedly transfers energy better than air, so higher humidity should improve the transmission of sound rather than dampening it** 😅
