Can’t tell if fanfic or actually wholesome

One of the most "successful" guys I have ever met, in terms of sleeping with girls, and then later finding a very good woman he married, is a 5'3" guy named Paris. I am sure his height pushed a lot of women away over the years, but he was easy to like, confident, and funny, which, shockingly, turns out to be a lot more important in the long run.

Also, shockingly, he didn't start off as any of those things, and those were all skills he developed by forcing himself to socialize with people, and working on getting better results.

Is 5'6" not basically bang on average height for men? Give or take.
